Just worked with Franz Josef Land on 10m by CW (EU pile-up was broken). Really surprised because my setup is too modest & simple. About 80 Watts and Vertical 9m Wire on telescopic fiberglass poll with FC40 Antenna Tuner.
Heard J79FCG (Caribbean) in the FIRST TIME after long (almost 10 years) of 10m Band silence.
6m also open. Achieved 11 SSB QSO and 36 in CW.
