I don’t remember my 1st (ever) QSO on 50 MHz. I guess it was during my DX journey to Baker Island in 2002 (DXpedition K1B). In Tuvalu and later in Baker Islands almost every day we heard strong signals from Hawaii’s CW beacon (and no one else). In Baker Island in one day we got nice 50 MHz “tube” towards Japan and finally got huge pile-up.
Today I worked with Greece. SV2KGA and Italy IK7XLW in SSB. In Germany signals were strong but very unstable. It was my first ever QSO’s on 50 MHz from Europe (!)

Listening “famous” Bozo – IT9RYH on 7010 KHz. He is working in CW portion of the 40m band in SSB (!) and I am asking myself why HAM Radio Community and Italian Authorities is suffers antics of this freak for many years ?I I can’t find the answer …

Heard T31A DXpedition by “Perseus” Network on 40m by CW from Australia. He used QSX 2-3 KHz up with a huge pile-up from VK and ZL. For Europeans (not Big Gun’s) it was too late.
Just worked with RI1ANC on 10 MHz by CW. Unbelievable. The Signal was amazing strong. Never heard before such a loud signal from Central Antarctica.
I have just FT857d (100 Watts) and Vertical Antenna for 40m Band with LDG “AT-200Pro” Antenna Tuner.
A few days after the RI1ANC was confirmed my QSO by “CLUBLOG” on 30m CW (!)
Прохождение на Коротких волнах не радует. Снова в небесной канцелярии непорядок. Солнечная буря одна за другой. Радиостанций на диапазонах мало. Некоторые проходяит с глубокими замираниями. Только монстра, типа “Радио Китая”, слышно постоянно громко. Но, против природы не попрешь. Сегодня утром наблюдал в районе 21 метрового диапазона интересный эфект многократного кругосветного эха. Этож какую мощу надо иметь, чтобы радиоволны несколько раз обогнули Землю и сигнал проходил с таким уровнем?!
