На “блошином рынке” Вы сможете продать не нужную Вам самодельную и “фирменную”  радиолюбительскую аппаратуру, запчасти к ней, радиодетали (лампы, панельки, детали для изготовления усилителей, трансиверов и т.д.), не нужную радио-литературу, а на вырученные деньги купить себе то, что Вам необходимо для занятия любимым хобби. Хотелось бы поверить, но …

Народ сегодня сильно возбудился и стал мне названивать с единственной целью – узнать, действительно ли 4U1IAEA работает из Северной Кореи позывным Р5/4U1IAEA?

Пришлось перезванивать Юну JH4RHF  в Вену. Он много лет проработал в IAEA и в курсе, кто мог бы  “вещать” под эгидой МАГАТЭ (IAEA) из С.Кореи.

Но, Юна в офисе не оказалось и я было подумал, что и его скосил грип, который свирепствует повсеместно. Возможно, что он дома.

Позвонил на мобильный и обнаружил его в Корее. НО, не в Северной, а Южной, где он находился в командировке.

Судя по всему он очень удивился информации, которую я ему изложил.  В конечном итоге, мы оба пришли к выводу, что работа станции из “Р5″ – из области фантастики, тем более по линии ООН. Кроме того, в данный момент ни о каких инспекциях  МАГАТЭ там не может быть и речи.

На сколько мне известно, ООН никогда  не выдавала лицензиюдля МАГАТЭ и тем более на постоянной основе. Не говоря уже для “полевых” условий работы.

Увы, под позывным P5/4U1IAEA скрывался пират (к сожалению).

Make your QRPp life fun

This double-sideband (DSB) radiotelephone transmitter is powered entirely by the instantaneous (not stored) energy produced in the operator’s voice. The RF output power in my prototype falls within the range of 5 to 15mW. The circuit is essentially a high-level DSB modulator/crystal-controlled RF oscillator.

How to catch the HAM Satellite

My favorite ham activity is making contacts via satellites. Not only is there the romantic notion of sending messages into outer space, but you have to trace the orbit of the satellite with your antenna while tuning the radio, to compensate for the Doppler effect.

The satellites AO-51, SO-50, and AO-27 orbit the Earth acting as repeaters. Repeaters are automated relay stations that allow hams to send signals over a greater distance using low-power hand held transceivers. The satellites allow hams to relay messages from Earth to space and back to other hams somewhere on the planet. The International Space Station (ISS) also has a repeater, but occasionally, if you’re lucky, the astronauts turn on their radios to make contact directly with hams on the ground.

The following instructions will get you started listening to birds (satellites) on FM, which can be done with a simple VHF/UHF FM radio with a whip antenna, without the need of a ham license. For better coverage, you can use a Yagi antenna (like the one pictured above) connected to a mutli-mode radio and a license (if you want to transmit). A Yagi antenna can also be used to improve the signal of your hand held radio.
