Many years ago when I served in the Red (USSR) Army I am also used very high speed Morse (CW) code. I’ve changed the words to the special short symbols and receiving speed was increased dramatically. My top CW speed limited to about rx-45-50wpm and tx-35-40wpm.
Ladies practices high speed morse code sending with great dexterity. It’s about 200 characters per minute. Many Russian CW athletes can send CW like this.
