The EK130 Deluxe Electronic Keyer is a commercial grade electronic keyer, and this is the keyer used in Japanese Morse examinations. All of the controls are mounted on the front panel, along with a “speed meter” which displays the operating speed in words per minute, characters per minute (both PARIS and CODEX), and Japanese commercial radio class test speeds.
Terminals are provided for connecting a paddle and/or bug and/or straight key. The keyer itself will function in “bug” (semi-automatic) mode at the flip of the front panel switch.
