HRDSoftware, LLC is proud to announce the release of Ham Radio Deluxe 6.1.
Rick Ruhl, W4PC, HRD lead software programmer, said, “Much of the development team’s work on HRD 6.1 went into new features and enhancements.” DM added MMSSTV to its vast array of digital modes. SuperSweeper is now a triple-threat with CW added to RTTY and PSK. The already-acclaimed HRD Logbook directly imports Logbook of the World award credits, downloads DXCC applied award credits and confirmations, prints award grids for tracking, and prints applications for award submissions. HRD awards tracking now supports more than 215 awards and over 118 endorsements in 19 popular awards programs. The license manager has a new user wizard and cleaner interface.
The developers eliminated over 80 major bugs throughout HRD. They significantly improved the LoTW interface to Logbook of the World, fixed upload issues to HRDLog and eQSL and updated the Add Log Entry window and its fields.
Expanded hardware support includes the Yaesu FT-3000, Icom IC-7100, and Kenwood TS-990 Transceivers, as well as Hy-Gain DCU-2 and DCU-3 rotor controllers. Versatile hardware FSK interfacing supports products from seven manufacturers: Timewave Technology, West Mountain Radio, microHAM, US Navigator, RigExpert, MFJ, and ZLP Electronics.
HRD 6.1 will be free to customers who own version 6.0. The price for the new version will remain at $99.95, including one year of support and upgrades. After the first year, the optional renewal of support and upgrade services will continue to be $49.95.
