Optional kann der DR-7800 auch mit einem Bluetooth- oder einen Ethernet- LAN Port ausgerüstet werden. Mit Hilfe des Bluetooth-Anschlußes besteht die Möglichkeit, die Drahtverbindung zwischen dem Pactor-Controller und dem Computer durch eine drahtlose BT Verbindung zu ersetzen. So kann man sich z.B. mit einem Notebook frei bewegen und dennoch immer Kontakt zur weiten Welt haben.
Das Ethernet-Interface dient der Einbindung des DR-7800 in ein Netzwerk, z.B. um mehrere Computer den Zugang zum Pactor-Netzwerk zu ermöglichen.
Optionally the DR-7800 can be equipped with a Bluetooth or LAN interface.
The Bluetooth interface the wired connection between the Pactor controller and the computer is replaced by a wireless BT connection. THis gives you the freedom to move around for example with your notebook, and still be in touch with the world.
The Ethernet interface is used to connect the DR-7800 to a local network of computers, for example to give each computer access to the Pactor modem.
With the software upgrade to version 2.0, the P4dragon controller now handles also Packet Radio 1200 AFSK and 9600 (Direct FSK). Simultaneous operation in PR and pactor is possible.
