KN-920
The KN-920 is a big radio with lots of extra head room inside. It however is not a radio one can pack up and haul around. I ahd one in teh hopes of reviewing and doing up a manual for it and soon realized we are BETA testers and this radio is not even close to being ready for the market. No TUNER installed(option), USB port not able to utilize by user and many other items. I had the FINALS blow in the radio used, first one, replaced both, and had them go again, 3 times the finals went and lifted traces off the board. Shipping back was out of teh question as I had already well over $400 into this radio, and only if it was proven that the builder made a mistake would it be covered, again maybe. I purchased through Aliexpress and they say full refund if item not as described, or partial refund and keep item if not happy with item, well I got neither one and the person I dealt with has not replied to my emails or questions. Since then he is not allowed to sell this radio because of NO RESOLVE.
Stay away from the KN-920 as it needs lots of work to be a real good QRP radio, it has potential but making us BETA testers is not the way to do it.
