The German “RDR50B” is a radio receiver with transceiver option and based on DSP (two 16-bit ADC).
He has a 18 cm (7 “) wide screen with touch panel. The entire unit is operated via this touch panel and the control knob. The desired settings can be tapped directly on the display and then changed using the rotary knob. Number of entries are possible by calling a virtual keyboard.
Frequency range 1 kHz – 30 MHz and 50 MHz – 54 MHz.
Devices with option “FM” also 87.5 MHz – 108 MHz and 144 MHz – 148 (154) MHz. Also in the FM band is direct digitization.
Devices with option “sender” allow broadcast at 9 amateur bands below 30 MHz.
Clipping: +6 dBm (up to 54 MHz), -12 dBm (FM).
IP3 values ??up to +28 dBm (at 30 MHz, 2 x -10 dBm signals).
Sensitivity to 30 MHz (20 dB SNR): 3 uV 50% and 0.5 uV AM FM 75 kHz wide.
MDS (CW, 10 Hz bandwidth): -147 dBm.
Demodulators: AM-H, AM-Sync, SSB, CW, FM narrow and wide IF Out, baseband-out.
