The SDR-4 receiver covers from 0.85 to 30 MHz and follows on from our existing SDR Receiver with a Si570 low noise synthesised VFO, relay switched band pass filtering, a power FET RF amplifier and a built-in USB soundcard.<\/p>\n

Antenna isolation transformer with a 50 or 450 ohm impedance input for use with coax fed antennas or random wire antennas
\nExtra antenna isolation when the receiver is powered down
\nRelay switched RF band pass filters<\/p>\n

RF amplifier using a power MOSFET in receiver front end
\nInternal 10 MHz RF level calibration oscillator
\nBuilt-in USB stereo soundcard<\/p>\n

3.5mm soundcard audio output for headphone monitoring or connection to datamodes program
\nBuilt in a compact aluminium case 175 x 106 x 30 mm<\/p>\n

We will launch the SDR-4 receiver at the RSGB National Hamfest on 30 September\/1 October 2011.<\/p>\n

The price will be ?149.95 plus shipping. At current rates that’s $243.32 or 170.94 Euro.<\/p>\n

The SDR-4 setup program can be downloaded as a zip file here . This installer program stores the USB drivers in a folder C:\/SDR-4 and places the ExtIO files in the HDSDR and Winrad folders. When the SDR-4 receiver is plugged in for the first time direct the driver installation wizard to C:\/SDR-4\/Driver and the USB driver will load automatically.<\/p>\n
