Future board designs will come from the wider Myriad-RF community, with the first board (Myriad-RF 1) designed by Taiwanese distributor Azio Electronics.<\/p>\n<p>Myriad-RF boards use field programmable RF (FP-RF) transceivers to operate on all mobile broadband standards \u2013 LTE, HSPA+, CDMA, 2G \u2013 including all regional variants; and any wireless communications frequency between 0.3 and 3.8GHz. This includes the regulated, licensed bands and unlicensed \/ whitespace spectra.<\/p>\n<p>Lime has also beta-launched the Myriad-RF community website and forum, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.myriadrf.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.myriadrf.org.<\/a> This resource will also house the board design files and example projects with how-to guides and the ability for users to contribute extra content.<\/p>\n<p>Designs hosted on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.myriadrf.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">myriadrf.org<\/a> will initially come from Lime and close partners, but Lime seeks to increase involvement and design contribution from the general RF design community \u2013 both hobbyists and professional system designers.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cqdx.ru\/ham\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/Myriad_RF_Open-Source.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-35510 \" title=\"Myriad_RF_Open-Source\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cqdx.ru\/ham\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/Myriad_RF_Open-Source-885x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"799\" height=\"924\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.cqdx.ru\/ham\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/Myriad_RF_Open-Source-885x1024.jpg 885w, https:\/\/www.cqdx.ru\/ham\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/Myriad_RF_Open-Source-259x300.jpg 259w, https:\/\/www.cqdx.ru\/ham\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/Myriad_RF_Open-Source-768x889.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.cqdx.ru\/ham\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/Myriad_RF_Open-Source-1327x1536.jpg 1327w, https:\/\/www.cqdx.ru\/ham\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/Myriad_RF_Open-Source.jpg 933w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 799px) 100vw, 799px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Azio\u2019s Myriad-RF 1 board measure approximately 5x5cm, uses a 5V power supply and is software configurable to operate from 300MHz to 3.8GHz and on 2G, 3G and 4G communication networks. Pre-built boards will initially retail for $299 or less via the Azio online store.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>We\u2019re trying to create an Arduino for the RF sector; a board that\u2019s low cost, powerful, exceptionally flexible and easy to use. And, most importantly, we\u2019re trying to let the community determine what\u2019s required, letting them add the functionality they need.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>A distribution network is already in place for pre-built boards and components with Azio Electronics and Eastel already on board.
