These instruments provide spur-free outputs with phase noise of -113 dBc\/Hz at 20-kHz offset from a 1-Ghz carrier and a frequency resolution of 1 \u00b5Hz at any frequency. They exhibit an amplitude accuracy \u2264 \u00b10.30 dB (0 dBm CW signal at 22\u00baC) from 10 MHz to 6 GHz.<\/p>\n<p>TSG4100A models support all the standard analog modulation modes\u2014AM, FM, phase modulation, and pulse modulation\u2014in addition to vector signal modulation modes through a software upgrade. The generators support a number of modulation schemes, including ASK, QPSK, DQPSK, 8PSK, FSK, CPM, 8VSB, 16VSB, and QAM from 4 through 256.
