It features a 14-bit 80 MS \/ s analog-to-digital converter, a high-performance FPGA-based digital down-converter and a 480 Mbit \/ s high-speed USB 2.0 PC interface. Being an SDR device, PERSEUS relies on software applications to perform the demodulation process. The software, in addition to providing digital signal processing capabilities, has a simple graphic interface compatible with all major operating systems. Integration with third-party software is provided in various ways, through the Microtelecom Software Defined Radio Developer Kit, virtual audio ports and virtual communication ports.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A PERFECT SDR RECEIVER FOR SHORT WAVES<\/strong><br \/>\nPERSEUS features the highest level of reception, ideal for shortwave, with exceptional bandwidth monitoring capabilities.<br \/>\nThe analog front end has been carefully designed for the most demanding users and includes a 0-30 dB attenuator in 10 dB steps, a 10-band preselector and a high-dynamics preamp with a top-of-the-range cut-off point that exceeds 30 dBm.
