<\/p>\nIcom releases new firmware “Version 1.10” for IC-PW2<\/p>\n
On August 20, 2024, Icom Inc. released new firmware, “Version 1.10,” for the HF+50MHz band 1kW linear amplifier “IC-PW2” on their website. According to the company’s announcement, the update includes two items: “When an Icom exciter is connected, a setting item has been added to turn the IC-PW2 power on\/off by operating the exciter’s power key,” and “Other minor changes have been made.”<\/p>\n

This is the first new firmware release for the IC-PW2 since Version 1.03 on June 25, 2024. The contents of the new firmware announced this time are as follows:<\/p>\n

Major changes from Version 1.03:<\/strong><\/p>\n -Added a setting item to turn the IC-PW2 power on\/off by operating the power key of the exciter when connected to our exciter.<\/p>\n -Other minor changes<\/p>\n The IC-PW2 firmware can be updated using an SD card (please check the instruction manual).
