The\u00a0mAT-1500ProII<\/b>\u00a0is a versatile automatic antenna tuner designed for transmitters and linear amplifiers with up to 1500 watts (SSB) or 800 watts in digital mode. It works in the frequency range from 1.8 to 30 MHz and matches almost any coax-fed antenna system \u2013 be it a dipole, a vertical or a yagi \u2013 even with complex impedances.<\/p>\n
The tuner has two antenna connections (ANT1\/ANT2), which can be switched between using a button, and offers three operating modes: GENERAL, YAESU and ICOM. It automatically recognizes the connected transmitter, which makes operation easier. In GENERAL mode, remote control via the RS232 interface is possible. With the optional control cables mAT-CY (YAESU), mAT-CI (ICOM) or mAT-CK (KENWOOD), the tuner is controlled and powered directly by the transceiver, without the need for an additional power source. It supports YAESU transceivers with a standard tuner socket, as well as ICOM and KENWOOD models with compatible 4-pin (ICOM) or 6-pin (KENWOOD) connectors.<\/p>\n
What makes the mAT-1500ProII special is its combination of speed, precision and ease of use. With 16,000 memory locations, it can tune in a maximum of 8 seconds at full tuning or 0.1 seconds at stored frequencies. The 4.3-inch LCD with 800×480 pixels displays real-time RF power (PEP\/AVG), SWR and operating status \u2013 in BYPASS mode, it even serves as a precise measuring device. Thanks to a special RF measurement chip, the SWR measurement remains stable regardless of the power, which sets it apart from many standard tuners. The aluminum housing is robust and lightweight (3.5 kg), suitable for indoor or protected use at temperatures from -10\u00b0C to +60\u00b0C.<\/p>\n
Unique is the PTT loop-through with automatic interruption during tuning, which prevents damage from high power, as well as the option for manual fine adjustment using four buttons (LUP, LDN, CUP, CDN). Connectors include \u201cRF-IN\u201d and \u201cANT1\/ANT2\u201d (SO-239), \u201cGND\u201d for grounding, control jacks for YAESU\/ICOM\/KENWOOD, a DC jack (12-14 V, 2 A) and RS232 for remote control. Two RCA cables for PTT control are included.<\/p>\n
