The Linear AMP Uk 2m Discovery uses a GS35 triode which will produce up to 1500 Watts with about 80W of drive.
The unit uses a 2.2kVA toroidal transformer with a higher power voltage doubler board.
Control and protection circuits are all provided by the specially designed control board.
The cooling is a 33BTFL snail-type fan which blows into an anodised aluminium RF compartment.
Quiet changeover relays, anode protection and auto soft start are standard features.
