RS -BA1 Operation with the Base Station`s PC connected to the ACC socket on the radio,Mic connector,or S/P DIF jack for audio communication cannot be guaranteed. Depending on your radio,a few functions or modes cannot be used,and you may have to update the firmware of the radio to operate the CW level,using the RS-BA1. The ICOM RS-BA1 IP Remote Control Software allows you to use an ICOM compatible radio installed in another room using your home network or even from a remote location over the internet.Most functions and modes of your ICOM Compatible Transceiver can be controlled,including interference rejection functions and IF filter settings.Low voice latency(caused by the RS-BA1)provides the same operational experience as using an actual radio.The S meter and SWR function can even be observed.
The RS-BA1 USB Flash Drive consists of two software components.
1: System configuration sets up IP address, audio sampling rate and other settings.
2: Remote control software which provides an interface which is similar to the radios
front panel and allows control of the radio from a remote location.
The IC 7300 can be connected to a PC via a USB cable (type A to type B which is a standard usb to printer cable) and the audio input/output signal and CI-V command is sent through the usb cable,
The IC 7300 IC 7200 IC 7100 IC 7410 IC7600 IC9100 can be connected to a pc via a usb cable and the input/output audio signal and CI-V command is sent through the USB cable.
The IC 756PROII/III IC 746PRO IC 7400 and IC 7000 can be connected to a PC with an audio cable and RS-232V cable through CT-17 CI-V level converter.
