Yaesu Plans To Launch A New Version Of The FT-710 SDR HF Transceiver Field

The new FT-710 Field will no longer come with the SP-40, which can be used for the Acoustic Enhanced Speaker System (AESS), but will still provide users with a portable carrying strap. For customers who wish to use AESS functionality, they can choose to purchase the SP-40 as an accessory.

The FT-710 Field is expected to be launched in the autumn of 2023, providing more convenient functions for on-site operations. This new product will bring users better performance and a wider range of applications. Yaesu Company will continue to promote the development of wireless communication technology and provide customers with high-quality product experiences.

As a well-known wireless communication equipment manufacturer, Yaesu has always been committed to providing advanced wireless communication solutions for a wide range of users. The release of FT-710 Field will further expand Yaesu’s product line, meet the needs of different users, and inject new vitality into the wireless communication industry. We look forward to the launch of this exciting new product and believe that it will bring users a better experience.

Has a compact design yet offers 100W output power with built-in tuner, leveraging the advanced digital RF technology found in introduced in the FTDX101 and FTDX10 series. YAESU’s unmatched SDR technology emphasizes reception performance and features bandpass filters specifically for the amateur bands to eliminate unwanted out-of-band signals.

The RF front-end design with the 250 MHz HRDDS (High Resolution Direct Digital Synthesizer) enables phenomenal multi-signal reception characteristics as well as QRM rejection through the dual-core 32-bit high-speed floating point DSP for SHIFT/WIDTH / NOTCH / CONTOUR / APF (Audio Peak Filter) / DNR (Digital Noise Reduction) / NB (Noise Blanker) and 3-stage parametric equalizer

A high-resolution 4.3-inch TFT color touch panel display with DSS (3-dimensional spectrum stream) provides a very good overview of important displays and settings. The new AESS: Acoustic Enhanced Speaker System with the included SP-40 station speaker produces high-fidelity audio output.
The two V MI LEDs (VFO mode display) located to the left and right of the VFO knob also indicate the current operating mode (VFO-A, VFO-B, memory mode and clarifier/split operation).

The “PRESET” mode, for optimal setting values, for example for the FT8 communication mode, can be activated by selecting “PRESET” on the mode screen to quickly start FT8 operation. PRESET settings can be accessed and adjusted by pressing and holding “PRESET”. It is possible to save up to five preset parameters.
