The BLA-703 from RM Italy is a 10-meter (25-30MHz) power amplifier for all operating modes, with an output power of up to 500 watts. The integrated, lightweight switching power supply enables operation with input voltages from 100 to 240 V AC and keeps the total weight of the device at a manageable 13 kg.
The minimum power required for control is just 1 watt; full output power is achieved with an input power of 35 watts.
A large heat sink integrated into the housing, which is supported by 2 large (but quiet) fans, ensures optimum heat dissipation.
Easy-to-read LED bar displays on the front of the device provide information about the relative transmission power and the standing wave ratio (SWR) at all times during operation. A switchable receive amplifier enables effective amplification of weaker signals.
The PL/SO239 connections for transceiver and antenna, earth terminal, RCA socket for PTT control and the power supply connection are located on the rear.
