The Grounding Antenna Switch from 4O3A reliably protects your valuable radio system from damage/destruction due to overvoltage, for example during a thunderstorm.
The system permanently monitors the operating status of your system. If necessary, a physical separation of antenna lines and radio devices takes place by means of motorized switches and the connected antennas are simultaneously switched to earth.
This safe state (“park position”) can be fulfilled under various conditions:
- When the connected radio is switched off
- If the power supply (110/220 V AC) is interrupted
- With external supply of 12 V DC switching voltage
- By manual operation
A total of up to 6 radios and antennas can be connected to this expandable system and protected.
